Ukrainian State Tax University is one of the leading universities in our country, which provides education for specialists in the fields of economics, taxation, and finance. The University also trains law enforcement professionals, who are in charge of combating corruption within state institutions.
The university is helping to educate a new generation of public servants, which in turn helps to transform the government of Ukraine. Courses are offered at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. The University is an international hub of academic activities and regularly hosts national and international conferences and events.
Campus history
The first academic building and dormitory were constructed back in 1932 and new buildings were added to the campus over time. The Main Campus building was completed in 1951 as a symbol of renewal following World War II. This new building was the physical manifestation of a national commitment to educating students.
The Main Campus building is the «heart» of the University, where students and faculty enter the University and move through the campus. Due to extensive damage caused by russian attacks, the Main Campus building had to be closed, and all campus activities relocated to other parts of the University, causing overcrowding. In addition, students and faculty can no longer enter the campus through the main entrance.
A Message from the Acting Rector
The State Tax University is a vital local institution of higher education that is playing a crucial role in shaping the city of Irpin. The University contributed to the rapid development of Irpin as a recreational suburb of the capital. Irpin became known as a city of youth, students, young families and progress, a modern city with a bright future. Our students and faculty are an active, socially responsible part of the community, embodying the highest professional, intellectual, and cultural potential of the hero city of Irpin and the Kyiv region.
Dmytro Serebrianskyi
Today, not only have we not surrendered to the enemy, but we continue to fight, working on many "fronts". We need friendly support. The restoration of the Main Campus building is not just about renewing the infrastructure - it is about affirming our right to live, study, build a European future, grow, and become a contributing member of the democratic world.
The university actively engages in social projects, supporting local communities and various initiatives that promote the development of culture, ecology, and civic society.
To prepare for a better tomorrow, we need to redesign the destroyed Main Campus building of the University. We seek a design that will reflect the opportunity of hope and the certainty of peace for our students. Join us in this competition and help us create a NEW VISION of a 21st century campus that will inspire a new generation of leaders.
